Troy Tapp was born in Colquitt County, Georgia and grew up in Tift County on the farm. He graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, and Valdosta State College with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing.
Troy began his career in real estate in 1983 as an appraiser. He obtained a Salespersons license in 1984, and a Georgia Brokers license in 1999. He attended the Texas Auction Academy in 2007. Presently an Associate Broker, he has been active in the Tifton and South Georgia markets with over 30 years experience in the development and Marketing of Real Estate.
Troy is married to Elaine Tapp. They have two sons, Carson and Clay Tapp.
