Helene Fleming is a licensed REALTOR and a member of the Tiftarea board of REALTORS®. In 2007, Helene sold a home for one of her customers which now gives her the distinction of having the largest real estate sale in Tift County. She has lived in Tifton for 32 years and is equipped with a thorough understanding of our community and its resources.
Helene's community involvement includes having served on the following boards: Tift County Library Board (served as Secretary, Vice-Chair and Chairman), the Tift County Foundation for Educational Excellence (served on Reading Capital of the World Committee, Incentive Grant and Excellence in Teaching Award Committees), the PTO boards for Len Lastinger, Matt Wilson, Tift County Junior High School (served as President.) and the Northeast Campus of Tift County High School (served as President.twice), Magnolia Garden Club (served as Secretary,Program chair and vice-Pres.) and the Tifton Museum of Art and Heritage (Chairman of Volunteer and Membership Committee,wrote and developed a program for the establishment of a Guild). She is a member of First United Methodist Church.
Helene is married to Carlton A. Fleming, Attorney with Sims, Fleming and Benson and has three children, Virginia (Gin), a Doctor of Pharmacy, John who will receive his Juris Doctor degree in May of 2008, and Ridley, a college student.
