Jane Rodriguez was born in raised in Massachusetts. In her mid twenties, she moved to Alaska with her family where she worked with her father on his commercial fishing boat fishing for salmon. During this 10-year period, Jane also taught kindergarten and met and married her husband, Walter. After they were married, Jane and Walter managed a restaurant together. Also, during their time in Alaska, they welcomed their first son, Darren. The family then moved to Maine where Ryan, their second son was born. After a brief time in Florida, Jane and her family settled in Fitzgerald in 1992. Here Jane has worked in elementary Christian education, Tony’s Just Coffee and Colony Bank. Jane’s husband Walter owns Precision Painting.
In addition to her busy family and professional life, she enjoys biking, sewing and reading.
